Ah, sweet summertime memories!

Think back to summers spent in the park playing Little League baseball or softball.  Sunny skies, and the smell of freshly-mown grass.  Cheeks filled with sunflower seeds.  Uniforms put on with pride... It was more than just a game - it was a rite of passage.

Southeast Little League’s main purpose is to provide a safe, fun and healthy environment for children to develop the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, fair competition, and respect.  Our success is easily measured by focusing on one simple goal: for EVERY child to come away from the season saying, “That was fun!  Can I play again next year?”

Currently, Southeast Little League services the Southeast side of Davenport as well as the entire city of Bettendorf and LeCLaire(see map).  In 2023, we provided over 400 children within the above mentioned boundaries the opportunity to play baseball at one of the finest youth ballparks in the area.  The Southeast Little League Fields are located within Prairie Heights Park at 5600 Eastern Avenue, Davenport.  We have three Little League Approved Fields with lights, bullpens and covered dugouts.  Our fields also have two outdoor batting cages as well as a new 50’x70’ building that has three indoor batting cages and storage for our equipment.

Southeast Little League is divided up into 5 Divisions: Intermediate(50/70) Majors, Minors, Competitive Coach Pitch (CCP), and Rookies.  Click HERE for more info on Divisions.

Teams (except Rookies) are created by the coaches through a draft process.  This helps to maintain a balance of ages and skills among each of the teams within a division.

Registration takes place in early February.  Practices usually begin in mid to late March with the regular season going from mid-April thru June.  Majors Division games are typically played on Monday and Wednesday, Minors Division games are typically played on Tuesday and Thursday; CCP Division games are typically played on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, and Rookie Division games are typically played on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Weekends are reserved for make-up games due to inclement weather.

No child is ever turned away from Little League because of a financial burden.
